Mark Elvins is well known on the UK Contra and Country Dance circuit, and has been calling for most of his life. He has called dances and workshops for many dance clubs and also called at most of the major folk dance festivals: Sidmouth, Chippenham, Litchfield, Whitby and various weekends including Halsway ‘Zesty Contras’. He is best known for contras and squares, but also calls for many types of social dance. He is also known for choreographing many new and memorable dances.
